The farm is situated about 5 miles to the East of Rasanach in the rolling hills of the area and consists of two large family buildings, a barn and an osthouse. The families land is rich and they grow corn, beets and hops, which are mainly used in the families’ cash crop of beer. They have managed to create a beer which is demand in the local communities, Copper Town and they say further afield. The head of the family is Gannicus who is over sixty and his children and grandchildren run the farm now. There are a total of 26 members of the family and 8 slaves who tend the land and supply fyrd when required. The family is part of the Quintal Clan of the Barastoras Tribe, adopted when they moved into the area from Halay and Agger.
Some locals’ say that during the autumn many disreputable people visit the farm which they believe means that the family not only sell beer but other less legal goods to the People of Brathairmor and Copper Town. In fact they are correct, they wagons carrying beer to the towns also carry drugs and weapons to anyone who can pay. The family is part of a smuggling route which runs from Copper Town down to the rest of Tarsh, their beer barrels are an ideal place to hide illegal goods and are used at a cost by the local criminals. Gannicus is asked would say that his family originally moved from home because the Lunar authorities were closing in on their activites in Agger.
